i get these confused sometimes...lets see, the tighten up jam is based on two chords that sound a lot like eyes of the world. its whats in the Darks and Dancin's of 1969-70?

the feelin' groovy (or Uncle John's like jam as it is sometimes called) sounds like feelin' groovy but is not the same chord progression. is part of China>Rider from about mid '73-1974. isn't also in some Dark Stars in '72 and some other jams?

thanks, for that link. seeing as they played both feelin' groovy and tighten up in the same song sometimes in the early years, and so interchangeably, i guess it can be confusing, but you've just gotta listen :)

and wow, what an informative blog! some of these jams i had no idea about...always nice to learn something new about these guys...
